About College:
REVA Independent PU College Yelahanka – Residential Campus was commenced in the year 2009 under the aegis of Rukmini Educational Charitable Trust as Educational venture of DivyaSree Developers. College is affiliated to Karnataka Pre-University education Board and is one of the best PU College in Bangalore. RIPU provides holistic teaching to the students through classroom, practical and value added teaching. Various seminars are conducted on career development which gives information about the opportunities students have after the pre-university level. In addition to the classroom practical training REVA Independent PU College prepares students to deal with the competitive world by inducting various test and exams. A missed class is a lost opportunity for students to learn. The college adapts the Learning Management System (LMS) system to increase the frequency to report attendance data, class and examination schedule in a standard manner. The system automatically triggers the text message to the parents regarding the absence of their child for the classes.
Cultural Events
Annual college day ‘VARNA’ celebrated every academic year in the month of December. Inter class competitions “SPOORTHI” is conducted every academic year in the month of August to nurture the talents of young minds.
Students are encouraged to participate in various inter college competitions and win prizes.

National Cadet Corps
RIPU has a unit of NCC which aims at developing discipline, character, brotherhood and ideals of selfless service amongst young citizens. It also motivate the young to choose a career in Armed Forces.
Mentoring
The college embraces the mentoring system to build stronger, close, healthy and supportive relationship between teacher and the student. Each mentor is given a set of 25 students who closely monitor the academic progress, attendance, socio psychological aspects of each student and thereby improving the mentee’s academic skills.
Seminars / Workshops
REVA Independent PU College organizes Annual Science Exhibition every year in the month of December to cultivate scientific thrust among students. Recreation trip is organized at the end of every academic year.
Infrastructure
Library
REVA Independent PU Library is well equipped with nearly 2150 books from various streams. The Central Library is located in the heart of the campus and is housed in an independent building with a carpet area of 3,316 Sq. mtrs. The air-conditioned library has a seating capacity of 800. It possesses a huge collection of books and journals in both print and e-form.
The Library is kept open from 8:00am to 12pm midnight and it provides a mix of learning environment to meet different student needs. The library has gone digital with various options, making access and reading easy and convenient.
Laboratories
Laboratories are stimulating places for science students and since our children need to practice their hands on experiments. Physics, chemistry, biology, computer science and electronics laboratories at REVA Independent PU College cater to the need of CBSE /NCERT experiments. As many as 40 students can perform a wide range of experiments simultaneously while the lecturers and lab assistants always at hand provide constant supervision and guidance for optimum results.
Sports
REVA ensures a healthy lifestyle within the student community by encouraging them to participate in sports. Expert coaching is provided for various games like cricket, volleyball, basketball, tennis, badminton and many more.
Transport
We operate 23 buses that cover most of the city. About 967 students and 213 staff use the facility.
Hostels
At REVA, every care is taken to provide the best facilities for students who stay away from their homes. The hostel provides hygienic food and clean surroundings so that the inmates can live in a congenial atmosphere at affordable prices. Special study hours are conducted every day after college hours especially for hostel students.Hostel regulatory committee comprising our own team of faculties and Image monitors students round the clock.
Auditorium and Seminar Hall
Apart from class room lectures students needs to upkeep themselves with a variety of skills couples with team spirit and leadership qualities. Therefore, RIPU promotes varied kind of activities. REVA has adequate number of auditorium and seminar halls to facilitate such curricular and co-curricular activities.
